Responsibilities
- Evolve cloud security guidelines and standards for workload protection, networking and infrastructure security, threat modeling, data management, and secure software and infrastructure development.
- Implement security-by-default controls in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure operations.
- Support platform and business teams with security, privacy, and IT control measures for legal and internal compliance.
- Help engineering teams remediate vulnerabilities and audit findings.
- Support cyber defense, enterprise architecture, and software engineering teams in remediating risks, security alerts, and vulnerabilities.
- Drive container security practices including image hardening, admission control, and runtime protection.
- Design and implement security controls across cloud platforms throughout build, test, and deployment.
- Secure cloud and platform networking, including firewalls, load balancers, segmentation, and identity-driven access models.
- Build, operate, and integrate security logging across cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Mentor teams and raise awareness of security mandates and best practices.
Requirements
- Experience with cloud security on Oracle Cloud or Google Cloud, including implementing and evaluating native-service security baselines and best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and policy as code, including Terraform or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience driving container security practices such as image hardening, admission control, and runtime protection.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud security controls across build, test, and deployment stages.
- Experience with cloud and platform networking security, including firewalls, load balancers, segmentation, and identity-driven access models.
- Experience building and operating security logging integrations across cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Experience securing complex enterprise platforms such as SAP and custom-developed applications.
- Experience with LLMs, AI, and agentic coding platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Claude Code.
- Proven experience as a security subject-matter expert, including mentoring and raising awareness of security mandates.
