Responsibilities
- Own the quality strategy, standards, release criteria, and quality gate for Gaming AI products across frontend, backend, and dependent systems.
- Build AI-assisted code review, automated remediation, generated unit and end-to-end tests, and change-aware test selection systems.
- Design and operate evaluation methodologies for non-deterministic outputs using rubrics, multi-run sampling, multi-judge agreement, and human calibration.
- Measure correctness, latency, cost, throughput, and run-to-run consistency, and connect quality metrics to creator and player outcomes.
- Build defect triage, grouping, deduplication, prioritization, regression attribution, and quality reporting systems.
- Drive quality practices upstream into requirements and design and build adoption across engineering, art, and product.
- Lead release-risk decisions under time-to-market pressure and represent quality in technical strategy and roadmap decisions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software quality engineering, SDET, or quality leadership, including ownership of the quality bar for a multi-team organization.
- Experience building quality frameworks, platforms, processes, and tooling adopted by other teams rather than primarily executing test plans.
- Current hands-on use of AI and agent tooling for code review, test generation, and software-development workflows.
- Experience designing evaluation methods for systems without a single correct answer, including LLM-as-judge, rubric design, agreement analysis, human calibration, and relevant statistics.
- Experience measuring and regression-testing performance and cost attributes such as latency, throughput, cost per operation, and consistency.
- Experience with test automation architecture across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, CI/CD quality gates, test impact analysis, test selection, and flaky-test management.
- Experience building defect analytics and quality metrics, including triage, prioritization, regression attribution, and actionable reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, align engineering, art, and product stakeholders, and hold quality standards under schedule pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for executives and individual contributors.
- Preferred experience includes game development or game QA, Unity or Unreal, content and asset pipelines, generated art and design evaluation, performance or load testing, establishing a quality function, C#/.NET, Python, Azure, Google Cloud, and security, privacy, or compliance testing.
Benefits
- Comprehensive health, life, and disability insurance, retirement or pension plans, vacation and personal days, new-parent and family-care leave, mental health support, and an employee assistance program.
- Commute subsidy, office food and snacks, employee resource groups, training and development programs, and volunteering and donation matching.
