Base Salary
$87k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software packaged into Air Traffic Management System products.
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and validate operational software components throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain documentation and work instructions supporting software engineering standards and processes.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing.
- Collaborate with engineering team members, program management, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience developing, integrating, testing, and validating software components in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Experience with the complete software development lifecycle using C/C++.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the applicable programs and contracts.
- Preferred: proficiency with Bash and Python scripting languages.
- Preferred: experience with Agile methodologies and Git.
- Preferred: experience testing software or debugging source code.
- Preferred: experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
