Base Salary

$87k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software packaged into Air Traffic Management System products.
  • Design, develop, integrate, test, and validate operational software components throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Maintain documentation and work instructions supporting software engineering standards and processes.
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing.
  • Collaborate with engineering team members, program management, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience.
  • Experience developing, integrating, testing, and validating software components in a Unix/Linux environment.
  • Experience with the complete software development lifecycle using C/C++.
  • U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the applicable programs and contracts.
  • Preferred: proficiency with Bash and Python scripting languages.
  • Preferred: experience with Agile methodologies and Git.
  • Preferred: experience testing software or debugging source code.
  • Preferred: experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
