Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end application lifecycle management across hosting, databases, development, testing, releases, performance, security, backups, remediation, and automation.
- Provide technical direction and solution design across UI, backend, APIs, microservices, integrations, databases, and data flows.
- Lead development and integration of RESTful APIs using ASP.NET WebAPI and microservices-based architectures.
- Remain hands-on with complex development, proof-of-concept work, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support.
- Define and review API contracts, service boundaries, integration patterns, technical designs, and application architecture.
- Coordinate application releases, code promotion across development, test, and production environments, patches, upgrades, and small to medium projects.
- Review code and technical approaches while promoting maintainable, reliable, testable engineering practices.
- Identify technical risks, cross-system dependencies, performance concerns, and delivery blockers.
- Manage application integrations, service providers, L2/L3 teams, application infrastructure, and stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor application performance, remediate issues based on ticket analysis, and improve end-user experience through automation.
- Implement requirements-gathering and testing processes and support developer and tester activities.
- Maintain application documentation, functional workflows, knowledge management, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
- Mentor developers, promote knowledge sharing, and strengthen team capability across full-stack and cloud-native technologies.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of software development experience with significant solution design or technical leadership experience for complex enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on full-stack development experience across Angular, C#/.NET, APIs, microservices, and databases.
- Experience with ASP.NET WebAPI, REST APIs, JSON, microservices architecture, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
- Ability to own technical solutions and guide developers through complex engineering challenges.
- Experience working on business-critical enterprise applications and coordinating technical dependencies across systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and technical decision-making skills.
- Experience with application architecture, solution design, technical reviews, production troubleshooting, integrations, and release management.
- Preferred exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, IIS, Nginx, Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, CI/CD, and modern DevOps engineering practices.
