Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer solutions within Agile software delivery teams while contributing to sprint goals and broader technical communities.
- Write, review, document, and maintain Java-based full-stack enterprise application code.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available, resilient, and low-latency applications using modern software patterns and cloud-native technologies.
- Contribute to software architecture, technical standards, code quality, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical leadership, and developers to deliver solutions aligned with technical strategy.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership when needed.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience as a software engineer or developer using Java.
- Experience with software engineering best practices including unit testing, automation, design patterns, and peer review.
- Strong understanding of data structures and object-oriented principles using Java.
- Experience with cloud-native development, container orchestration, service-oriented and microservices architectures, REST, and GraphQL.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, Micronaut, or Vert.x.
- Exposure to Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript front-end technologies.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Tekton, Harness, CircleCI, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Agile and iterative delivery practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Exposure to relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and tools such as Kafka, Spark, Flink, and RabbitMQ.
- B.Tech or B.Engg degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience includes scalable and resilient architecture, cloud infrastructure, API management, infrastructure as code, security, observability, monitoring, job schedulers, and mentoring teams of five or more developers.
