Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform for consistency and scalability.
- Own and optimize CI/CD deployment pipelines for speed, reliability, and developer productivity.
- Manage and scale production Kubernetes clusters on AWS.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and incident-response systems.
- Drive infrastructure security and compliance, including IAM management, network security, and vulnerability scanning.
- Collaborate with software engineers on application performance, containerization, and database reliability.
- Own complex infrastructure projects and mentor engineers on DevOps practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or data-heavy environment.
- Hands-on experience running production workloads on AWS, including services such as EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and VPC.
- Strong production experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Working proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and internal tooling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for explaining infrastructure concepts to cross-functional partners.
- Preferred: experience owning complex infrastructure projects, mentoring engineers, designing advanced Terraform modules, using multiple CI/CD platforms, and working with big data technologies or data orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Preferred: experience at a data tools or infrastructure-focused company.
