Base Salary
$131k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize distributed storage systems for reliability, consistency, and performance.
- Own high-leverage control-plane services with strong reliability requirements and clear customer impact.
- Develop and maintain data abstraction services for high-throughput, low-latency workloads.
- Implement and refine caching strategies using Redis, Memcached, and similar technologies.
- Collaborate across infrastructure, platform, and application teams to improve data access and storage performance.
- Identify and address scalability and efficiency challenges in distributed systems.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of full-time experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed data infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Go or Java, with deep expertise in multithreading, distributed systems, and databases.
- Deep expertise in NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or DynamoDB and distributed caching systems such as Redis or Memcached.
- Experience building and optimizing high-scale data storage systems for reliability, availability, and performance.
- Expertise with workflow or orchestration engines such as Temporal, Cadence, or Argo, including modeling long-running stateful workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful storage solutions in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
