Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced computer vision algorithms for construction scene understanding and spatial intelligence.
  • Design, train, and evaluate semantic segmentation, object detection, instance segmentation, and large-scale deep learning models.
  • Build systems for 3D environment understanding, spatial reasoning, BIM correspondence, object matching, installation-state recognition, construction progress, and quality assessment.
  • Use RGB, stereo, depth cameras, SLAM, BIM, and other wearable sensor data to develop perception systems.
  • Explore Gaussian Splatting, NeRFs, foundation models, multimodal AI, and modern computer vision techniques.
  • Develop supervised, self-supervised, and semi-supervised learning data pipelines.
  • Optimize and deploy models on NVIDIA Jetson using TensorRT, CUDA, and ONNX.
  • Build production inference pipelines and benchmark latency, accuracy, robustness, and inference speed.
  • Improve localization-assisted perception across varied lighting, weather, and construction-site conditions.
  • Contribute to architecture, design reviews, R&D roadmap decisions, knowledge sharing, and engineer mentoring.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of industrial experience in computer vision.
  • MSc or PhD in Computer Vision, AI, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Deep expertise in 3D computer vision and spatial AI.
  • Strong understanding of geometry, spatial relationships, and scene understanding.
  • Experience developing and deploying computer vision and deep learning systems in production.
  • Strong Python development skills and expert knowledge of PyTorch.
  • Experience with semantic segmentation, object detection, image understanding, modern computer vision architectures, large-scale deep learning models, and large image datasets.
  • Strong mathematical foundations in machine learning and computer vision.
  • Ability to bridge research and production engineering and develop robust, deployable products.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and multidisciplinary engineering skills.
