Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, and performant designs aligned with architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Apply software reliability engineering standards within development practices.
- Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery and communicate blockers or delays.
- Collaborate across product teams and contribute to technology transformation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Generally a minimum of eight years of experience.
- Understanding of agile software development and DevOps principles.
- Understanding of feature purpose, affected users and flows, team domains, and business and technical strategy.
- Ability to collaborate on all aspects of product development.
- Technical proficiency in defining and delivering solutions for end users.
- Ability to communicate processes and results with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, third-party vendors, and customers.
- Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
