Responsibilities

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
Collaborate with peers to manage the entire software lifecycle and strive for excellence.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables related to technical expertise.
Lead incident response efforts and implement effective incident management processes.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure infrastructure and application integrity.
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system resources for efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and organization.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and processes.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for critical outages.

8+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles.
Experience in cloud-focused software development, preferably in Go or Python.
Familiarity with ECS, Docker, Kubernetes, Envoy, Istio, and Linkerd.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Certifications in relevant technologies are preferred.
