Responsibilities

  • Build robust, high-quality software solutions for Citi’s margin and collateral technology platform.
  • Participate in the full spectrum of software solution development while working closely with product teams and users.
  • Develop programming solutions using Java, React, and/or Python.
  • Build APIs using frameworks such as Spring.
  • Apply data structures, algorithms, SQL, test-driven development, and clean-code principles.
  • Contribute to engineering culture and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global technology environment.

Requirements

  • Hands-on professional software development experience is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or an engineering field involving software programming or systems engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in Java, React, and/or Python is required.
  • Strong hands-on experience building APIs with frameworks such as Spring is required.
  • Proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and SQL is required.
  • Experience with investment banking or financial services is beneficial.
  • Experience with AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, S3, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases is beneficial.
