Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and design and develop embedded software and test suites for automotive powertrain systems.
- Propose technical solutions for customer demands and technical issues in the automotive domain.
- Document software designs and design changes resulting from customer requirement changes.
- Develop and execute unit, functional, and integration tests.
- Research technologies and methods to improve automotive system performance.
- Integrate software components and analyze and configure software and hardware.
- Create integration test plans and execute integration testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a relevant major.
- Up to six years of embedded software development experience; fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are welcome.
- Good C programming skills.
- Exposure to microcontrollers or microprocessors.
- Exposure to real-time operating systems, automation control, and debugger-based testing.
- Good English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Japanese proficiency at N4 level or above is an optional advantage.
