Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and evolve server-side and client-side applications.
- Own technical design, development, testing, and the resulting solutions.
- Optimize API response times and improve application performance using metrics, distributed tracing, and aggregated trace metrics.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and domain experts to communicate technical possibilities and limitations.
- Provide feedback on technology, development lifecycle, and processes.
- Mentor teammates and investigate new technologies.
- Use agentic AI development tools to streamline automation, troubleshooting, operational workflows, and infrastructure-as-code work.
- Advocate for clean code, clean architecture, and effective testing.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of full-stack development experience.
- Expertise in the React and Node.js ecosystems.
- Solid experience with NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Docker.
- Strong skills with browser APIs, the DOM, and HTML/CSS.
- Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building and using agentic AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, or Codex.
- Team-oriented approach, problem-solving ability, ownership, mentoring ability, and a results-focused work ethic.
- Preferred experience includes MongoDB, Redis, Express, Fastify, GraphQL, RabbitMQ, AWS, Next.js, Redux, Styled Components, distributed systems, microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design, high-traffic websites, Agile principles, Git, JIRA, remote work, and open-source projects.
