Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and support commerce platform features, experiments, and adjacent customer experiences.
- Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant, high-quality software with comprehensive test coverage.
- Translate commerce and growth-team needs into end-to-end architecture and system designs.
- Lead architecture and systems design with cross-functional PLG teams and represent engineering in stakeholder discussions.
- Create proofs of concept, recommend scalable technical solutions, and present software architecture to executives.
- Drive design, implementation, testing, and product releases as part of a cross-site development team.
- Mentor and address senior and lead engineers and architects across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in user-facing applications.
- Experience with C#, Go, Java, React, JavaScript, or other modern programming languages.
- Experience using coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
- Backend development experience and experience building or consuming RESTful web services.
- Experience with distributed systems and the design and operation of large-scale cloud services.
- Experience across the software development lifecycle, including version control, build processes, testing, and code release.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage priorities.
- Ability and desire to work fluently across technology stacks.
