Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and build scalable systems impacting customer acquisition and retention.
- Develop close relationships with product and tech teams in China and Korea.
- Establish and execute architectural roadmaps for the business.
- Drive continuous improvement in platform efficiency and flexibility.
- Maintain high standards for customer trust, performance, and availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent fields.
- 10+ years of industry experience with increasing responsibility leading engineers.
- 5+ years of experience in software development in large distributed systems and web services.
- Experience in designing high-concurrency, high-availability, and high-scalability systems.
- Familiarity with distributed system architecture, microservices, and core backend technologies.
- Strong competency in delivering results in rapidly changing environments.
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
- Experience working with global distributed teams.
