Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and automate large-scale, high-performance streaming data processing systems.
- Build scalable infrastructure and pipelines using best-in-class software engineering practices.
- Ensure the platform supports high availability, reliability, and low-latency.
- Take full ownership from solution investigation to operational health.
- Establish and execute short and long-term architectural roadmaps.
- Drive continuous improvement of data, platform, and services.
- Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to understand data requirements.
- Implement data quality and validation processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience in data-related products with proficiency in Spark, Flink, Spring, and Java.
- Experience with open-source frameworks and technologies like Spring, AWS, and NoSQL.
- Excellent problem-solving and performance improvement skills.
- Experience building real-time recommendation systems for e-commerce or digital marketing.
- Distributed systems experience is essential.
- Ability to take ownership and thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
