Responsibilities
- Deliver technical development, support, and maintenance for customer-facing and internal web applications.
- Lead squads in developing robust and resilient solutions while championing Solera technical standards.
- Define, maintain, and enforce technical standards in collaboration with Architecture.
- Coach and provide feedback to team members and promote strong squad morale.
- Represent Product Development with internal and external stakeholders.
- Own and prioritize technical debt with Product and the wider department.
- Advocate testing practices and lead automation rollout.
- Deliver continuous improvements and innovative approaches aligned with Product Development strategy.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience delivering IT development projects.
- Over 3 years of experience serving as a Technical Lead.
- Related degree or equivalent qualifications or experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring, Java web applications, Apache, Nginx, CI/CD tools, databases, and software development practices.
- Experience with Scrum, Kanban, Pair Programming, and TDD.
- Strong analytical, solution design, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Desirable experience with Selenium, JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, Karma, Jasmine, REST/JSON APIs, Swagger, HATEOAS, Maven, Ant, Unix, JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS, Angular, and the ELK stack.
