Responsibilities
- Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions through production implementation and support.
- Troubleshoot, fix bugs, upgrade, and modify existing applications.
- Drive feature development and lead medium-to-large technical initiatives.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical problems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, flowcharts, and layouts.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through guidance, coaching, and learning opportunities.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
- Collaborate with QA, Product, and DevOps teams on feature delivery.
- Evaluate new technologies and vendor packages for potential integration.
- Recommend improvements to application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience with advanced knowledge of C# and .NET.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, including SQL Server, and experience with SQL Server Management Studio.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio, Git, CI/CD tools, unit testing frameworks, REST APIs, and Postman.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, prioritization, and independent-work abilities.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Preferred experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Preferred experience engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
