Responsibilities
- Design module content, hands-on labs, a reference implementation, an evaluation harness, and an instructor guide for a Master in AI Systems Engineering.
- Build course artifacts to production standards with pinned dependencies, containers, and seeded runs for reproducibility.
- Fine-tune classical ML and small foundation models.
- Ship containerized inference services and multi-tenant serving systems to production, including routing, queueing, and isolation.
- Apply quantization and caching techniques to reduce inference-serving costs.
- Hand over the completed educational materials to the program for instruction by other educators.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience shipping production software, including at least 2 years in production AI/ML.
- Ability to personally build the course artifact to production standard.
- Public evidence of technical writing through documentation, a technical blog, or an open-source project.
- Professional written English.
- Experience fine-tuning classical ML or small foundation models.
- Experience shipping containerized inference services to production.
- Production experience with multi-tenant serving, including routing, queueing, and isolation.
- Demonstrated experience with quantization and caching that reduced serving costs.
- Willingness to hand over developed material to the program.
