Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced production-grade AI solutions using machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI technologies.
- Apply prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, model evaluation, monitoring metrics, and drift detection.
- Develop scalable cloud-native solutions using Azure, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Handle large-scale, unstructured, and multimodal data for AI applications.
- Apply responsible AI, model interpretability, ethical, security, privacy, and compliance practices.
- Collaborate with customers to translate business challenges into trustworthy AI solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical direction and support to colleagues.
Requirements
- A minimum 2.1 degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Statistics, or a similar quantitative field.
- Demonstrable experience deploying modern AI/ML solutions into production.
- Strong Python skills and grounding in software engineering best practices, including testing and code reviews.
- Experience developing solutions at scale on Azure and AWS, with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in data engineering for AI and large-scale unstructured and multimodal data.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, model interpretability, and ethical considerations.
- Strong interpersonal and team-working skills.
- Active SC Clearance.
- Desirable experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, fine-tuning or distillation of large language models, scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
- Desirable experience with vector databases, semantic search, knowledge graphs, open-source AI projects, research publications, AI security, privacy, compliance standards such as ISO42001, and the defence sector.
