Base Salary
$189k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy deep learning models for semantic reasoning in highway environments.
- Collaborate with Scene Intelligence, Semantic Grounding, and PCP Mapping teams to enhance the machine learning stack.
- Define semantic representation requirements and establish validation workflows with motion planning teams.
- Optimize deep learning models for real-time inference efficiency on Zoox vehicle platforms.
- Investigate and resolve perception-related regressions in high-speed driving simulations.
- Contribute to the long-term architecture for Perception Semantic Reasoning.
Requirements
- MS in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 3-5 years of experience, or PhD with 0-2 years.
- Deep understanding of 2D/3D computer vision, semantic segmentation, and deep learning architectures.
- Exceptional programming skills in modern C++ and Python.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like JAX or PyTorch.
- Proven track record of deploying real-time machine learning models on embedded systems.
