Responsibilities
- Design and build Rust backend services for real-time policy enforcement.
- Own features end-to-end, including API design, database schema, deployment, and monitoring.
- Build high-throughput data pipelines to handle massive AI traffic.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and observability.
- Collaborate closely with product, research, and ML teams.
- Work across the stack to solve problems and protect boundaries.
Requirements
- Production experience building backend systems in Rust.
- Strong async programming and concurrency fundamentals.
- Solid system design skills, including scaling and failure modes.
- Experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning and schema design.
- Experience shipping and operating services in production.
- Strong communication and ownership mindset.
