Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, high-performance software from concept through production deployment for trader workflow tooling.
- Translate business and trading requirements into technical specifications and innovative solutions while collaborating with global business stakeholders.
- Write clean, efficient, and documented code and champion engineering best practices across the technology team.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies, including AI tooling, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior colleagues and help deliver frequent releases through a self-organizing team and continuous-delivery pipeline.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in modern backend languages such as Kotlin and/or Python.
- Extensive experience developing scalable and resilient services using microservices architecture.
- Experience deploying and managing applications with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Experience with Python-based frontend frameworks such as Dash or Streamlit is desirable.
- Practical understanding of DevOps principles, automated testing, continuous integration, and trunk-based development.
- Front-office application experience and knowledge of trading workflows, financial instruments, or market data are significant advantages.
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a similar role.
