Forward-Deployed Engineer
Forum VenturesResponsibilities
- Embed with enterprise fleet customers at customer sites to understand workflows and operational needs.
- Build and deploy integrations across telematics, TMS, maintenance platforms, and other third-party systems.
- Design agent workflows using real-world fleet data.
- Ship working software and customer fixes rapidly, including within the same week.
- Own deployments end to end from discovery conversations through production operation across thousands of trucks.
- Present to customer executives and collaborate with maintenance directors, dispatchers, and shop managers.
Requirements
- Real logistics, trucking, supply chain, fleet, carrier, broker, 3PL, or fleet-maintenance experience.
- Expert daily-use fluency with Claude Code, Codex, and agentic coding workflows.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills with a focus on integrations, APIs, data pipelines, and third-party systems.
- Confidence working directly with enterprise customers and presenting to senior customer stakeholders.
- High ownership and comfort operating independently in ambiguous environments.
