Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Integrate AI products that process external and multi-system data in real time.
- Route streaming responses and LLM requests across providers using fallback and cost logic.
- Monitor latency, costs, and error rates and proactively prevent system degradation.
- Improve system quality through simple, maintainable architectural designs.
- Build instrumentation and observability to identify missing signals and diagnose production issues.
- Improve reliability and performance under production load.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of backend engineering experience, including ownership of production platform foundations.
- Strong TypeScript skills and practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, APIs, queues, and caching.
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- System design skills and the ability to evaluate performance, latency, and cost trade-offs.
- Experience with multi-system real-time context, streaming responses, and LLM routing across providers.
- A track record of improving reliability and performance under production load.
