Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack product features across web and mobile platforms.
- Own technical architecture and evaluate trade-offs for reliable, high-availability product systems.
- Instrument features with telemetry, dashboards, and alerting, and use data to guide product and performance decisions.
- Run and review A/B experiments, manage staged feature rollouts, monitor regressions, and drive incident mitigation.
- Diagnose complex cross-stack bugs, including non-reproducible and multithreaded issues, and implement defensive programming practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to define requirements, technical specifications, and execution plans.
- Improve engineering efficiency through tooling, automation, workflow improvements, and legacy-code migrations.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to code review standards, onboarding, code quality initiatives, and incident review processes.
- Incorporate privacy, security, integrity, and responsible AI principles into engineering work.
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmapping, and use AI tools and emerging AI practices to improve workflows and measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, including full-stack or back-end product development.
- Experience designing and building scalable, reliable consumer-facing or platform-level systems with high-availability requirements.
- Experience with A/B experimentation frameworks, metric definition, experiment interpretation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience writing maintainable, well-tested code and establishing test coverage strategies that prevent regressions.
- Experience driving technical projects end-to-end, including architecture, cross-team coordination, and production rollout.
- Preferred experience implementing responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality reviews.
- Preferred experience with performance profiling and optimization of large-scale web or mobile applications.
- Preferred experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team-wide engineering programs.
- Demonstrated AI skill development, including prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration.
- Experience contributing to product strategy and roadmapping through written proposals and stakeholder alignment.
- Ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and deliver measurable improvements.
