Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and repeatable workflows.
- Own production reliability through observability, SLI/SLO definition, and incident response.
- Champion GitOps workflows for infrastructure deployments.
- Build compliance-ready infrastructure supporting SOC 2 and GDPR requirements, including IAM and secrets management.
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and reliability at scale.
- Create developer tooling and documentation to accelerate engineering workflows.
- Mentor teammates and help shape infrastructure strategy.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience across compute, networking, storage, and observability.
- Expert-level, production-active Kubernetes experience within the last 12 months; EKS is preferred.
- Proven experience managing AWS infrastructure for B2B SaaS products.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Terraform and/or Terragrunt.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines end-to-end.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms such as Prometheus, the ELK stack, or Datadog.
- Experience working at VC-backed startups or mid-sized technology companies rather than exclusively at large enterprises.
