Base Salary
$160k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy software and test assets for validating avionics boards, sensors, instrumentation, and mechanism assemblies.
- Build automation scripts and visualization tools for design and high-volume production testing.
- Become a subject matter expert on component behavior across environmental, performance, and system conditions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to deploy test systems supporting vehicle builds.
- Drive test campaigns through development, design validation, certification, and production automation.
- Triage and root-cause field failures using data analysis, test heritage, operating-condition correlation, and one-off test campaigns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Python programming experience for high-volume production applications, preferably including manufacturing or end-of-line software development.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and automation systems for safety-critical and factory applications.
- Experience developing software that interfaces directly with hardware, including interpreting datasheets and validating systems with representative hardware.
- Experience developing test plans, test requirements, and test criteria for hardware products.
- Deep knowledge of common test instrumentation and data-acquisition hardware.
- Experience with Git and software development and validation processes.
- Knowledge of embedded C and the ability to understand Rust are desired.
- Ability to solve complex multidisciplinary problems with limited supervision, individually or as part of an integrated team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
