Base Salary

$160k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and deploy software and test assets for validating avionics boards, sensors, instrumentation, and mechanism assemblies.
  • Build automation scripts and visualization tools for design and high-volume production testing.
  • Become a subject matter expert on component behavior across environmental, performance, and system conditions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to deploy test systems supporting vehicle builds.
  • Drive test campaigns through development, design validation, certification, and production automation.
  • Triage and root-cause field failures using data analysis, test heritage, operating-condition correlation, and one-off test campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Python programming experience for high-volume production applications, preferably including manufacturing or end-of-line software development.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and automation systems for safety-critical and factory applications.
  • Experience developing software that interfaces directly with hardware, including interpreting datasheets and validating systems with representative hardware.
  • Experience developing test plans, test requirements, and test criteria for hardware products.
  • Deep knowledge of common test instrumentation and data-acquisition hardware.
  • Experience with Git and software development and validation processes.
  • Knowledge of embedded C and the ability to understand Rust are desired.
  • Ability to solve complex multidisciplinary problems with limited supervision, individually or as part of an integrated team.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
