Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, enterprise architecture, data architecture, development, and stakeholder teams to clarify requirements and solve business problems.
- Analyze legacy systems and source code, conduct gap analyses, and define transition strategies for new business needs.
- Design modular, scalable functional and technical architectures for data-centric platforms, applications, integrations, APIs, and cloud environments.
- Define integration points that support parallel operation with legacy systems.
- Select technology stacks through proofs of concept and benchmarking exercises.
- Document functional requirements and architecture in Confluence.
- Oversee implementation progress, enforce architectural standards through code reviews, and support technical troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Provide strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, team coaching, and coordination of outsourced and global IT teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in full-stack architecture spanning infrastructure, data, microservices, and front-end systems.
- Experience designing APIs, web platforms, and mobile applications for credit, insurance, compliance, or related regulated domains.
- Experience with data strategy, integration, orchestration, big-data applications, rules engine design, and infrastructure modernization across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture components and integration patterns, UML, ArchiMate, ITIL, governance frameworks, network and security architecture, and data-centric platforms.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, API gateways, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing.
- Experience with regulated environments, security, compliance, incident management, multi-cloud environments, and global IT team management.
- Familiarity with TOGAF, SAFe, or COBIT; certifications in cloud architecture, Agile, or cybersecurity are also noted.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills; fluent English is required and French or Romanian is a plus.
