Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a high quality bar in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Participate in design discussions, planning, and sprint retrospectives.
- Write test scripts and automated test cases providing end-to-end coverage across cloud, UI, and firmware.
- Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
- Develop and execute test plans and define quality metrics for product quality.
- Lead QA activities on medium- to large-sized projects and communicate with business and technical partners.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of quality assurance engineering experience.
- Experience with manual testing and automation testing.
- Experience scripting or coding.
- Experience serving as a QA lead on medium- to large-sized projects.
- Knowledge of IoT systems and strong computer science fundamentals.
- Preferred experience with an automated test framework such as Selenium or Appium.
- Preferred experience gathering test requirements, creating detailed test plans, and defining quality metrics.
