Responsibilities
- Build pipelines for ingesting, validating, transforming, versioning, and accessing large speech datasets.
- Improve distributed training, orchestration, checkpointing, resource scheduling, and failure recovery.
- Create tooling for experiment configuration, tracking, comparison, reproducibility, and artifact management.
- Build evaluation systems for benchmarks, regression inspection, release comparison, and model-behavior analysis.
- Optimize models for efficient cloud and on-device inference where relevant.
- Automate model packaging, documentation, validation, and open-source publishing.
- Build internal developer tools that improve researcher and engineer productivity.
- Establish observability, access controls, and operational practices for sensitive clinical data.
Requirements
- Excellent Python skills and experience building maintainable production systems.
- Familiarity with PyTorch training, model evaluation, GPU workloads, and the ML development lifecycle.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, orchestration, job scheduling, or distributed computing.
- Experience building reliable data pipelines and working with large, versioned datasets.
- Strong focus on observability, debuggability, failure recovery, reproducibility, and data integrity.
- Ability to build reusable platform capabilities and own solutions end to end.
- Ability to work closely with researchers and translate changing experimental needs into durable systems.
- Experience with coding agents, automation, or custom tooling is expected as part of an AI-native workflow.
