Responsibilities

  • Develop full-stack software with attention to design and code quality.
  • Design and build reusable, scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, object-oriented principles, and event-driven architecture.
  • Develop in a continuous integration and delivery environment using Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
  • Select appropriate persistence mechanisms, including relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Implement coding best practices and program code-quality gates.
  • Create proofs of concept based on business needs.
  • Coordinate with multiple Mastercard groups to support project success.
  • Work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
  • Provide technical mentoring and training to junior developers.
  • Follow Mastercard security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected breaches, and complete required security training.

Requirements

  • Strong full-stack development skills and in-depth product development knowledge.
  • Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with online or real-time systems development.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and digital-native architecture is desirable.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, learning, and technical mentoring skills.
