Base Salary
$200k - $325k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own production-grade integrations of Goodfire’s platform into partner environments, including API integrations, custom pipelines, internal tooling, and evaluation workflows.
- Design and execute short-timeline pilots that demonstrate the platform’s impact.
- Embed with partner engineering teams as the day-to-day technical point of contact.
- Understand partner codebases and infrastructure while building trust with customer engineering and research teams.
- Share field insights with platform and research teams and develop reusable tooling and playbooks.
- Translate novel interpretability methods into reliable production implementations.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills with production experience in Python and modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and JAX.
- Ability to understand new research techniques and translate them into shipped software.
- Ability to learn quickly, persist through ambiguity, and operate as a generalist problem-solver.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical tradeoffs to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical degree or equivalent professional experience in AI, machine learning, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a forward-deployed, solutions, or customer-facing engineering role is preferred.
- Experience at a high-growth startup or frontier AI lab is preferred.
- Experience with large language models, including fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, or agent development, is preferred.
- Familiarity with interpretability, mechanistic interpretability, sparse autoencoders, feature steering, or model internals is preferred.
