Responsibilities
- Deploy ML solutions and integrate AI tooling into VFX pipelines.
- Build web front-end UIs for dashboards, curation, job control, and review workflows.
- Implement cost-effective data and MLOps pipelines with architects and global stakeholders.
- Build, package, configure, troubleshoot, and debug complex software systems across Linux.
- Improve efficiency, stability, and observability through profiling, metrics, tracing, and diagnostics.
- Validate software with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and enforce coding and CI quality standards.
- Maintain documented APIs, versioned schemas, secure-by-default practices, performance budgets, and telemetry.
- Write technical documentation and workflow guides for artists and developers.
- Mentor developers, assign tasks where appropriate, and collaborate under tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Strong programming and shell-scripting skills, especially Python and Bash.
- Experience building and troubleshooting non-trivial packages using C++11–17, CMake, autotools, setuptools, pip, poetry, and RPM.
- Expertise with Linux and command-line environments.
- Solid understanding of systems architecture and software engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to explain complex technology to non-experts and collaborate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with major package or ports systems, monitoring and diagnostics, Git, Jira, Elastic Stack, Graphite, Grafana, StatsD, Sensu, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, networking, filesystems, environment management, relevant CS or CE education, RHCSA or RHCE certification, and open-source contributions.
