Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, write, test, document, and implement integrated application systems.
- Respond to production problems and support immediate resolution efforts across technology areas.
- Contribute to project commitments and deliverables while collaborating with engineers, architects, product teams, business stakeholders, and quality professionals.
- Support software development, testing, automation, deployment, cloud migration, enterprise integrations, and operational applications.
- Maintain awareness of relevant technology trends.
Requirements
- Coursework or experience with Node.js, Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
- Coursework or experience with AWS services and infrastructure, including S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, ECS, and Kinesis.
- Coursework or experience with Kafka, Workday fundamentals, Workday integration concepts, XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, data transformation, REST, and SOAP APIs.
- Coursework or experience with software testing, XRay, DevOps, DevSecOps, automation, CI/CD, Jira, Agile, or SAFe is preferred.
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student during application and the internship and pursuing a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree.
- Progress toward a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree in Cybersecurity, MIS, Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field is required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education is required.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, age 18 or older, valid U.S. Social Security Number, and permanent U.S. work authorization without current or future sponsorship are required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, programming aptitude, and ability to manage concurrent assignments are preferred.
- Previous Software Engineer internship or work experience within the past 12 months is preferred.
Benefits
- Full-time, 40-hour-per-week internship from January 26, 2027 through April 23, 2027.
- Remote workplace arrangement with possible travel for training, meetings, or conferences; certain states and localities are ineligible for regular remote work.
- Pay is $26-$30 per hour based on progress toward degree completion.
- Free unlimited space-available travel privileges for the intern, with taxes and fees potentially applying to international travel.
- Required internship equipment, such as a laptop, will be provided.
