Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, write, test, document, and implement application systems that meet customer requirements and organizational standards.
- Respond to production problems and support immediate resolution efforts across technology areas.
- Participate in software projects and deliver assigned commitments.
- Maintain awareness of relevant technology trends.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams, quality assurance professionals, and business stakeholders on software and integration initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student during application and the internship, pursuing a relevant four-year undergraduate or graduate degree in fields such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education is required.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required.
- Coursework or experience with Node.js, Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, AWS services and infrastructure, Kafka, Workday integration concepts, XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, REST, SOAP, and software testing is required or preferred as specified.
- Coursework or experience with Jira, automation, DevOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD is preferred or expected.
- Strong programming aptitude, logical and abstract thinking, problem-solving, written and verbal communication, organization, collaboration, and ability to manage concurrent assignments are required or preferred.
- Previous software engineering internship or work experience within the past 12 months is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; a valid U.S. Social Security Number is required for hiring.
Benefits
- Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with a maximum of 8 hours per day during normal business hours.
- Remote workplace position with possible travel for training, meetings, or conferences; certain states and localities are ineligible for regular remote work.
- Internship program dates are January 26, 2027 through April 23, 2027.
- Free unlimited space-available travel privileges for the intern, subject to taxes and fees on international travel.
- Required internship equipment, such as a laptop, will be provided.
