Base Salary
$125k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and operate the API layer for the Ventura platform.
- Manage the identity and access model for the operating system.
- Create authorization boundaries and audit trails for partners and OEMs.
- Develop shared platforms and infrastructure for testing and observability.
- Build user-facing web portals and the underlying platform.
- Oversee monetization APIs and data pipelines.
- Set developer-experience standards for other teams.
- Ensure operational excellence and lead incident response.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend platforms and APIs.
- Extensive experience designing and operating user-facing APIs in production.
- Background in identity and access management, including multi-tenant authorization.
- Strong programming skills in a modern statically typed backend language.
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL data stores.
- Experience with API tooling and safe rollout patterns.
- Track record of end-to-end ownership of production services.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
