Responsibilities
- Develop and configure web content management solutions using Adobe Experience Manager, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and related technologies.
- Design and build AEM site structures, reusable components, custom workflows, object models, and implementation strategies.
- Create responsive, interactive interfaces and content for desktop, tablet, phone, and other devices.
- Configure AEM Author and Publish instances and ensure code works across both environments.
- Configure dispatchers or proxies in front of AEM and work with servers and server-side technologies.
- Translate business requirements into AEM-focused technical solutions and deliver applications based on designs, wireframes, and client requirements.
- Work with back-end developers, software architects, UX/UI designers, and product developers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Implement APIs, web services, content integrations, events, listeners, analytics, and conversion tags.
- Estimate and execute engagement activities using Agile/Scrum practices while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Assist clients with strategic objectives through technology solution implementation.
- Be available for some travel during project planning phases.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of web content management system experience with one or more CMS packages, including Adobe CQ5/AEM version 5.3 or above.
- Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks and Node.js.
- Experience with MVC frameworks, preferably React, including model and controller development.
- Working knowledge of JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS, JSP, and HTL.
- Intermediate to advanced JavaScript principles and fundamentals.
- Extensive knowledge of Git and Git commands.
- Experience with Bootstrap 3 and CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SASS.
- Strong Java, J2EE, and JSP experience developing large system applications.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, CQ5, AEM6, Sightly/HTL, AJAX, JSON, and REST/SOAP web services.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience in the development industry.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet stringent deadlines, collaborate effectively, and support client engagements.
