Responsibilities
- Translate stated and unstated client needs and complex functional requirements into system requirements.
- Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, debug, and maintain web-based software applications.
- Own application modules and independently develop features using available technology stacks and programming languages.
- Create basic project plans for small projects and monitor delivery against performance, time, budget, and quality expectations.
- Review code, suggest enhancements, and apply coding standards and organizational QA standards.
- Design basic database solutions, establish database objects, and perform database performance tuning.
- Work with configuration management tools and processes.
- Analyze production infrastructure, interfaces, dependencies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with customers, onshore counterparts, supervisors, team members, business analysts, and business teams.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET or Python.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and React JS.
- Knowledge of AWS, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- Experience managing source code with Git.
- Knowledge of Jira and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Knowledge of microservice architecture.
- Node.js and OpenAPI/Swagger experience are optional.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, application development, database concepts, production infrastructure, and performance troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Minimum of 15 years of formal education; graduate or postgraduate education in Computer Science or Information Technology.
