Responsibilities
- Maintain high availability across cloud-native security infrastructure and global points of presence.
- Own incident, problem, and change management and lead major incident response.
- Coordinate outage troubleshooting, service restoration, post-incident reviews, and root-cause analyses.
- Analyze metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerts to reduce noise and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Build self-healing automation, internal tooling, and AI-assisted workflows for operational tasks, incident triage, and diagnostics.
- Write, test, and maintain standard operating procedures and operational runbooks.
- Coordinate production maintenance windows, change rollouts, and vulnerability patching.
- Participate in a global follow-the-sun on-call rotation supporting a 24x7 production environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or Linux Systems Engineering.
- Working knowledge of AWS core services and experience running containerized workloads on Kubernetes, including EKS.
- Strong Linux systems administration skills and experience managing Nginx, Apache, and Tomcat.
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch/ELK, CloudWatch, and PagerDuty for dashboards, queries, and alerts.
- Experience with GitHub, Ansible or Salt, and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, proxies, and load balancing.
- Ability to write clean scripts and automation in Python or Go, with experience using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong interest or practical experience with LLM APIs, agentic AI, or tool integrations such as MCP.
- Methodical troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems and clear written communication for incident timelines and RCA documentation.
- Preferred experience includes cloud or hybrid network administration, SQL and NoSQL data stores, workflow orchestration tools, secrets management, and cloud security domains.
