Responsibilities
- Design and implement technology solutions for the Capital Markets business, especially Prime Brokerage.
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, and functions using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Perform Oracle performance tuning for procedures, queries, and indexes.
- Work with business and technology partners on business-critical initiatives and operational excellence.
- Deliver and support solutions independently within a focused scrum team.
- Contribute to Oracle development standards across the business unit.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of database skills experience with scripting knowledge.
- 4+ years of hands-on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming experience.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle performance tuning and Unix/Linux.
- Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts and database query development, including joins and unions.
- Strong analytical, programming, design, and analysis skills.
- Engineering or Computer Science graduate, or MCA equivalent.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets and Prime Brokerage is preferred.
- Knowledge of Snowflake or another cloud database is preferred.
