Responsibilities
- Act as a technical stakeholder for multiple projects and teams within the fintech portfolio.
- Partner with development managers to define technical roadmaps and drive multi-year technical strategy and architectural direction.
- Identify and resolve major technical challenges that unblock product opportunities.
- Architect, review, and write high-quality, well-tested code, including through the orchestration of AI agents.
- Collaborate with developers to solve complex problems and deliver scalable customer solutions.
- Simplify coding patterns, interfaces, and abstractions.
- Review and provide feedback on peer code across teams.
- Mentor teammates and contribute to a constructive learning and feedback culture.
Requirements
- Experience building web applications at scale and high-throughput distributed systems.
- Experience with invoicing, payments, or financial products such as payroll.
- Demonstrated success mentoring software developers, particularly in large-scale SaaS environments.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively with distributed teams and customers.
- Broad technical knowledge for solving complex engineering problems.
- A portfolio of successful projects and lessons learned from unsuccessful projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues and customers.
