Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise to design and sell solutions with inside sales representatives, lead-generation teams, and customers.
- Conduct customer and partner conference calls, product demonstrations, presentations, whiteboarding sessions, pilots, and proof-of-concepts.
- Support licensing, RFI/RFP development and responses, automation and enablement tools, internal systems, and sales processes.
- Engage senior IT leaders and technical decision-makers to qualify challenges and connect them with Commvault SaaS products.
- Develop business cases and communicate technical, business, operational, and financial inefficiencies addressed by Commvault solutions.
- Maintain technical and market expertise through training, certifications, and conferences.
- Document sales activities in Salesforce.com and keep management and internal groups informed of relevant issues and changes.
- Provide product and process improvement feedback and support marketing content creation and delivery.
- Develop technical training materials and documentation and ensure engineering-to-delivery coverage in statements of work.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in sales engineering or presales within SaaS, cloud, software, or storage.
- Fluent Spanish and English language skills.
- Customer-facing presentation, demonstration, and ideally proof-of-concept experience.
- Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in at least one major technology area, such as operating systems, virtual machines, cloud, databases, Kubernetes, or Microsoft 365.
- Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain business relationships.
- Awareness of technology trends and competing solutions.
- Ability to work in an organized, procedural manner using tools such as Salesforce.com.
- Relevant industry certifications are preferred, particularly cloud certifications.
- Understanding of the sales cycle and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
