Base Salary
$54k - $122k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded and system-level software for medical devices meeting performance, safety, and quality requirements.
- Design, implement, and test embedded and application-level software, Linux-based applications, graphical user interfaces, and real-time 3D algorithms.
- Create algorithms for 3D location tracking, 3D anatomical model creation, and intracardiac signal visualization.
- Translate system and user requirements into software architectures and detailed designs.
- Contribute to requirements definition, implementation, code reviews, verification, and final release.
- Develop and execute software and test plans, protocols, and reports.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Hardware Engineering, and Test Engineering.
- Document software solutions and support knowledge transfer to manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a discipline such as Computer Science; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of software development experience or equivalent experience, such as 4+ years of Ph.D. research experience in Computer Science.
- Advanced object-oriented design, C++, and Qt programming experience.
- Experience developing applications on Linux operating systems.
- Expertise in GPU-accelerated programming, including OpenGL, GLSL shaders, CUDA, or general stream programming concepts.
- Experience with NVIDIA GPU programming.
- Strong understanding of 2D/3D OpenGL texture mapping techniques.
- Strong background in computational geometry algorithms.
