Responsibilities
- Design, create, configure, and deliver cloud infrastructure environments using automation best practices.
- Automate cloud infrastructure builds, operational processes, and the full SDLC for application and infrastructure-as-code workloads.
- Assess technologies supporting automation and cloud migration.
- Maintain and monitor production and non-production systems to optimize platform performance and security.
- Automate business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
- Participate in rotational 24x7 on-call coverage and perform root cause analysis for service-performance incidents.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of SRE or DevOps production-operations experience in large-scale, internet-facing infrastructure.
- Direct experience building cloud-based infrastructure solutions in AWS or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including RHEL, CentOS, or Debian.
- Experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment, application performance monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Experience with Python and JavaScript scripting.
- Experience supporting containerized workloads using Docker, EKS, GKE, or Kubernetes.
- Cloud automation experience with Terraform, Docker, Ansible, or Chef.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, and StackDriver.
- Experience with Agile and ITSM processes and related tools, preferably Jira and Jira JSM.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, communication, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- AWS/GCP or Solution Architecture certification is preferred.
