Base Salary
$125k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and build test platforms to validate Starlink software.
- Develop software for test execution across hardware-in-the-loop and virtualized hardware simulation environments.
- Create tools supporting frequent and reliable software deployment, test execution, data analysis, continuous integration, and release processes.
- Analyze test results and investigate bugs with engineers across the organization.
- Collaborate with developers to provide a reliable, fast, accurate, and usable integrated test platform.
- Integrate and troubleshoot Starlink hardware and software.
- Identify test-system improvements and implement innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or another STEM discipline and at least 1 year of professional experience in test systems, software, or hardware development, or 3 years of such experience in lieu of a degree.
- Development experience in C, C++, or Python.
- Experience with hardware test setups, Linux, Bash, networking protocols, data analysis, or simulation software is preferred.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes, continuous integration, monitoring, RF system-level design, modems, or diagnostic test equipment is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing skills are preferred.
- Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR work-authorization requirements.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
