Responsibilities
- Lead the development of AI tools and applications from inception through implementation.
- Build ad-hoc tools for incident response, threat hunting, remediation, and scanning.
- Build, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, serverless workloads, and ETL pipelines.
- Identify automation and tooling opportunities with engineering teams.
- Partner with product engineering teams on security outcomes, including patching automation and risk-reducing gateways and services.
- Mentor and help grow other Software Engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Experience working with production code bases.
- Experience with at least one scripting language such as Python and one systems programming language such as Golang or C/C++.
- Experience with modern cloud infrastructure, including data pipelines, serverless workloads, and Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality projects on time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience working in a high-growth technology company.
- Preferred hands-on experience leveraging AI to build applications.
- Preferred experience maintaining Linux operating systems.
