Responsibilities

  • Create new data-platform features and automation using high-quality, idiomatic Python.
  • Support fault-tolerant replication, TLS, installation, and other data-platform operations.
  • Debug issues and interact publicly with upstream open-source communities.
  • Collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team and internal stakeholders.
  • Work from home with travel of approximately 2 to 4 weeks per year for internal and external events.

Requirements

  • Hands-on software development experience using Python.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar field.
  • Willingness to travel up to four times per year for internal events.
