Responsibilities
- Create new data-platform features and automation using high-quality, idiomatic Python.
- Support fault-tolerant replication, TLS, installation, and other data-platform operations.
- Debug issues and interact publicly with upstream open-source communities.
- Collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team and internal stakeholders.
- Work from home with travel of approximately 2 to 4 weeks per year for internal and external events.
Requirements
- Hands-on software development experience using Python.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar field.
- Willingness to travel up to four times per year for internal events.
