Responsibilities
- Partner with business, product, and operational stakeholders to understand needs, define requirements, and shape pragmatic solution options.
- Design end-to-end solutions aligned with business objectives, architecture, security, reliability, and operational requirements.
- Build prototypes, MVPs, and production-ready full-stack software.
- Investigate and implement integrations with third-party platforms, APIs, enterprise systems, vendor services, and workflow engines.
- Assess integration feasibility, security, data flows, supportability, and operational impact.
- Use AI-enabled tools to improve engineering speed, quality, consistency, and productivity.
- Guide teams in adopting AI-assisted delivery approaches, patterns, and guardrails.
- Collaborate with development, product, business, security, data, and platform teams to move ideas from discovery to production.
- Make independent technical decisions in ambiguous environments while balancing speed, scalability, maintainability, and risk.
- Contribute to technical direction through hands-on problem solving and solution shaping.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in full-stack software engineering and solution design.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate needs into working solutions.
- Experience delivering complex software end to end, from discovery through production.
- Strong proficiency with AI-enabled development and productivity tools.
- Experience with modern full-stack technologies such as the MERN stack or equivalent, including React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Camunda or similar workflow and process orchestration platforms.
- Backend development experience with Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Practical experience embedding AI and LLMs into the software development lifecycle, including prompt engineering, LLM-assisted development, automated testing, and model CI/CD.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, key-value or NoSQL stores such as MongoDB, and basic ETL and schema management.
- Experience investigating external integration opportunities and designing approaches involving third-party systems, APIs, enterprise platforms, and workflow engines.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences and the ability to work independently with high ownership.
- Ability to simplify complex or ambiguous business problems and deliver practical solutions.
- Experience delivering large-scale, business-critical solutions in global environments is a differentiator.
- Ability to work across time zones in a distributed team environment is a differentiator.
