Responsibilities
- Own and build key frontend and backend product features that streamline debugging and monitoring for developers
- Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers, solve their challenges, and incorporate feedback into the roadmap
- Improve HyperDX and ClickStack to efficiently analyze petabytes of observability data
- Scale the cloud-hosted platform for high performance and a growing customer base
Requirements
- At least five years of software engineering experience, preferably building developer tools
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills with experience using Next.js for frontend development and Express for backend development
- Strong proficiency in React.js
- Proficiency in SQL for query generation on ClickHouse
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Passion for open source and the developer community
- Experience creating developer tooling and designing for developers
- Bonus: expertise in distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines
- Bonus: experience with columnar databases
- Bonus: familiarity with Python, Rust, or PHP for integrations
- Bonus: experience with SDKs
