Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, application development, and model development.
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications.
- Develop user interfaces with JavaScript frameworks such as React, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop server-side logic and APIs using Java, Python, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Develop SQL and PL/SQL solutions for Oracle and relational database systems.
- Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs.
- Monitor and control application development through analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Deploy and maintain applications across various environments using relevant development and deployment tools.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs, and provide user and operational support.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend programming solutions.
- Establish operating standards and processes, follow required procedures, and recommend post-implementation security measures.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and manage technology, compliance, operational, and business risks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end web application components.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Devin, Copilot, or Claude.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience developing server-side logic and APIs using Java, Python, Node.js, or similar languages.
- SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and understanding of relational database management systems such as Oracle.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift, and understanding of Lightspeed.
- Experience with application deployment and maintenance across multiple environments.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and JIRA.
- Experience developing and executing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and bugs and collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to operate with limited direct supervision and exercise independent judgment and autonomy.
